RASHionale is ​an AI driven app that analyzes images of skin rashes to provide a diagnostic evaluation. We rely on a user's scanned image, medical history, and current symptoms to provide an easy to access, cost-efficient report that scores the likelihood you have one of these four commonly misdiagnosed diseases: lupus, lyme disease, psoriasis, and exanthemous drug-induced rashes.

As part of our service, we will also connect you with trusted dermatological experts in your area for a virtual consultation. Here at RASHionale, we aim to cut down on wait times and increase access to medical expertise - all at no cost to the patient.
OUR PRODUCT
To use our product, please upload a scan of one or more skin rashes to our model. Please make sure the rash is visible, clear, and appears reasonably large on the screen. Once our network makes a diagnosis, we will send you the report.

HOW DO WE DO IT?
RASHionale is an AI driven app that pulls from multiple open data sets to analyze pictures of skin issues to give users a possible diagnosis for their condition. Specifically, RASHionale utilizes a convolutional neural network, or CNN, a trained machine learning model, to make accurate decisions based on the information given by the patient. Once the network matches a user's symptoms and rash to a pattern consistent with a known disease pathology, it will return a probability score on a scale of 1 to 100. Our model is coded in Python using Jupyter Notebook, while the app itself is coded in Swift.
